Being a Rejoinder on behalf of NINAS to Comments in the media space suggesting that current Political Realignments in the preparations for 2027 Elections are the panacea to the multidimensional failures and dysfunctions of Nigeria.

As Political Merchants gear up towards dragging the beleaguered peoples of Nigeria to yet another round of futile National Elections in 2027 under the same pernicious Caliphate-Imposed, Fraudulent Unitary Constitution of Nigeria (1999) in practical rejection of that Constitution which is directly responsible for the multidimensional failures and dysfunctions of Nigeria and for the Woes of Nigerians, NINAS will be rallying the victims of Unitary Nigeria towards Shutting Down the already doomed Electoral Voyage of 2027 (the 8th in the series from 1999); and in the place of those Elections, an immediate Transitioning Process for the wholesale Constitutional Reconfiguration of the Distressed Federation of Nigeria.

f Nigeria is so terribly sick as the whole World including Nigerians can see, the rational approach in seeking remediation is first, a proper DIAGNOSIS; then an appropriate PRESCRIPTION based on that Diagnosis which will form the basis of TREATMENT.

What has been going on for decades is that Nigeria and Nigerians, refused to proceed in this sequence and therefore have been going around in vicious self-reinforcing cycles of failure as they adamantly proceed in utter misdiagnosis in the search for a cure to the perennially ailing Nigeria. blaming symptoms like Corruption and Bad Leadership for outcomes that flow from the anomalous Unitary Constitution of Nigeria – the Patient.

When you proceed in such gross misdiagnosis, the patient takes the hit and may die.

The principal problem with Nigeria is its untenable and unworkable Unitary Constitution, which is directly responsible for both the endemic corruption, poor leadership, security nightmares and other debilitating ills that have ravaged Nigeria for decades.

The Remedy to Nigeria lies squarely in the total Constitutional Reconfiguration of Nigeria for a System Change and not in Elections that might lead only to Personnel Change (Leadership Change) that leaves the Unworkable System intact to continue to produce and inflict on Nigerians, the dysfunctional outcomes and failures that have characterized Nigeria for decades.

It is worse when the new Leadership targeted by such Elections produces a Leader like Peter Obi who in absolute obduracy, declared that the 1999 Constitution is not the Problem with Nigeria, even after the Electoral Debacle of 2023 when that Unitary Constitution swallowed in broad daylight, the Electoral Mandate he (Peter Obi) clearly received from the People.

Neither has anything changed in the institutional factors, including judicial and executive, that conspired to overturn the Electoral will of the people in 2023 as expressed by their votes
