Here is the Genealogy of the Current Mayhem in Igboland.
At first there was Ralph Uwazuruike’s MASSOB which begat Nnamdi Kanu. Then, Nnamdi Kanu begat IPOB; IPOB begat ESN, Simon Ekpa and Autopilot; which all begat the Unknown Gunmen enforcing IPOB’s Sit-At-Home Orders and orchestrating the Mayhem raging like wildfire in Igboland.
We have arrived at a situation where the Terror and Bloodletting being unleashed on Igboland by IPOB/ESN and their Unknown Gunmen Enforcers of Sit-At-Home orders, is now seeking to legitimize itself as a Voluntary show of Igbo Support and Solidarity for the Biafra Restoration Gambit of IPOB and its Leader, Nnamdi Kanu.
The botched February 2, 2026 total lockdown-of-Igboland threat of IPOB was a desperate attempt by the Rogue Biafra Franchise to deceive the Global Community into thinking that the Violently Procured Compliance with IPOB Sit-At-Home Orders was a Voluntary Show of Support and Solidarity by Igbo for Biafra Agitation, for IPOB, and for its supreme leader, Nnamdi Kanu, now serving multiple life imprisonment terms.
The miserable flop of the IPOB February 2, 2026 attempt at total lockdown of Igboland despite the threats of Mayhem by these Criminals who had been spilling Igbo Blood in the name of Biafra Agitation, is a REFERENDUM on the question of Igbo Support for the Biafra Restoration scam of Nnamdi Kanu and for Nnamdi Kanu himself.
The time has arrived for Igbo to expressly disown in its entirety, the Biafra Restoration Agitation along with the accompanying commotion, bloodletting and the destruction of Igbo Collective Goodwill, Globally, otherwise they (IPOB) will set Igboland completely ablaze.
On account of deadly fights over the control of money, the Rogue Biafra Franchise which operated under various amorphous codenames and overlapping brands including “IPOB”, “ESN”, “Autopilot” and “Unknown Gunmen” is presently fractured into no less than Five Factions, run as armed and violent street gangs.
Some of those gangs are under the control of Chika Edoziem’s DOS, Simon Ekpa’s Autopilot now taken over by Ngozi Orabueze. There is Nelly Ofoegbu’s “Idu” (new name for her faction of the Biafra Franchise ), Emma Powerful, Emmanuel Kanu (alias Fineboy, Nnamdi Kanu’s younger brother who inserts himself into the role of some kind of the second-in-command position to the utmost chagrin of the other IPOB factions), Chinasa Nworu (most notorious for Murderous exploits of his faction of the street-gang Franchise) amongst many others. This is the typical way of gangs because they have no ideology, they exist just to make money for its leaders and others near the top. So splintering into more and more factions happens.
But everything finds cover and accommodation under the big umbrella of Nnamdi Kanu’s IPOB Biafra Restoration Scam and Agitation.
Horribly, it is the innocent people in Igboland who suffer from IPOB’s gang violence and terror.
The figure of no less than 30,000 Igbos killed by IPOB was reported by an Igbo politician just a few months ago, all in the name of agitation for Biafra, with sufficient numbers of noisy, online and offline, ill-informed and dishonest fabricators of False Information and dishonest cheerleaders and Footsoldiers which altogether creates the misleading impression that Nnamdi Kanu’s Biafra-Or-Death gambit is an Igbo Collective Project.
It was never; It is not and will not become.
Accordingly unless the Igbo populace denounce IPOB, blood will continue to flow in Igboland.
Other crimes committed by IPOB/ESN/UGM would also continue and increase such as: kidnapping for ransom or for body parts (human organs harvest), rape, arson, robbery, burglary, theft, narcotic drugs offences, fetish-occultism, and criminal damage, etc.
The big mistake that Igbo made was in being deceived by a faction of IPOB’s propaganda machinery suggesting that at first, Nnamdi Kanu and his IPOB gang had started well before derailing. That is falsehood. IPOB was born with criminal intent.
Nnamdi Kanu, having learned from Ralph Uwazuruike’s MASSOB that many Igbo are vulnerable and therefore gullible to conmen once the word “Biafra” is used, planned his own scam under the IPOB umbrella. There was no truth at all in what was being dished out daily on the internet-based Pirate Radio Biafra London as the Plan to Restore Biafra; everything was just pure fraud, lies, photoshop, and scam.
Specifically
- There was no definitive Territorial Map to the Biafra that Nnamdi Kanu and his IPOB sought to restore.
- There was no discussion with the Nationalities whose Lands fall within the Territory that was declared Republic of Biafra in May 1967, and
- There was no design or strategy for overcoming or taking down the Constitution by which the Nigerian State forcefully holds together and governs the entirety of the Nigeria which includes the entirety of Igboland and all of the Territories of 1967 Biafra.
These specifics amongst several other fundamental flaws, were established from eyeball-to-eyeball discussions in 2013 with Nnamdi Kanu at the onset of IPOB.
Kanu knew what people wanted to hear, so gave it to them, just to dupe them.
He convinced his largely ill-informed audience of mainly young and impressionable Igbo that without violence and a war-like situation, Igboland could not be freed, thus Kanu used words of hate against other Ethnic Nationalities, and aggression; and stated in his radio broadcasts (and privately) that “Biafra” would not come unless some people were killed (but of course, not his own children). It is that deliberately infused thinking of Igbo, that violent conflict must occur, that Kanu used to hook onto Igbo and they easily believed his lies.
Prior to the 2013 emergence of Nnamdi Kanu with his IPOB, there was an ongoing Measured Liberation Campaign led by the Lower Niger Congress (LNC) and its NINAS Allies which targeted the Defeat and Dismantling of the Fraudulent Unitary Constitution of Nigeria (1999) as the Strategy for Terminating and Reconfiguring the Unworkable Unitary Union of Nigeria in an orderly process dictated by the Self-Determination Imperative for the Constituent Peoples of Nigeria trapped in the failed Lugardian Experiment of 1914 including the Igbo.
That Union Reconfiguration Process and Campaign was already in its 14th year (from 1999) before the 2013 floating of IPOB. Nnamdi Kanu, in absolute treachery, thoroughly abused and misused LNC Sensitive Project Information shared with him in confidence during the aforementioned 2013 Outreach Meeting.
Many more sad incidents of treachery, plagiarism and abuse of trust occurred in the years that followed leading to LNC-NINAS drawing of lines with Nnamdi Kanu’s IPOB and all the other Biafra Agitation Groups. The rest as they say, is history.
At a time when the December 16, 2020 Constitutional Force Majeure (Union Dispute) was declared to force the resolution of the Sovereignty Question amongst the Constituent Components of the Failed Nigerian Union, Igbo must find a way to loudly repudiate the totally meaningless “Biafra Restoration” gambit that has rendered Igboland blood-soaked and near-desolate, otherwise the Caliphate enemy and their local collaborators that sought Igbo extermination between 1966-1970 will use the license of “Unknown Gunmen” offered them in Igboland by the Rogue Biafra Franchise to keep our Igboland militarised.
Effectively, all the IPOB factions are like Hamas is to Palestinians. IPOB gang mingles within the Igbo population and carries out its criminal acts against Igbo, spilling blood, spreading fear and terror, destroying Igbo Businesses and killing Nigerian Security Operatives.
Then of course, Nigeria’s Government must respond by chasing and punishing IPOB footsoldiers and whoever else they meet in Igboland. That is when IPOB starts shouting “Igbo!”, to pull in Igbo Nation, and make it look like IPOB and their leaders are an Igbo project.
Because of what they get from Unitary Nigeria, many Igbo politicians who target Igbo Votes at Elections, maintain public posture of sympathy with the Biafra Agitation as nocturnal liaison with IPOB. It is such politicians that help make it look as if Kanu/IPOB are an Igbo project – but they NEVER have been.
To conclude, ordinary Igbo at home and in the Diaspora must denounce IPOB and all the leaders of the factions, and denounce those who fund the IPOB terror machinery particularly from foreign lands.
Igbo must now keep away from the politicians and those who use their exalted positions in society to promote, protect and support anything IPOB or Biafra Agitation, seeing the horror it has all become for Igbo.
In addition, Igbo must now focus on the only GENUINE, logical and potent Liberation Pathway available. That Pathway revolves around the Defeat and Dismantling of the Caliphate-imposed Unitary 1999 Constitution by which Nigeria excludes and subjugates the Igbo, but which has now come into the radar of current US Policy Actions on Nigeria in consequence of the CPC Designation of Nigeria. Nigeria And The Igbo-Destruction Tactics Of IPOB: No One Prevents An Opponent From Scoring Own-Goals – Feb 3, 2026.
In a Facebook post, Paul Okoye dissected the destructive impacts of the IPOB Agitation on Igbo and Igboland, listed IPOB enforcers including known Igbo political merchants, family and lawyers to Nnamdi Kanu. He went on to query why Nigerian Authorities, in their IPOB-containment drive, have not arrested those known enforcers.
