Osun Governorship Election-2026 As Referendum On Tinubu’s State Capture And Compass For Charting The Rest Of Nigeria’s Doomed Electoral Voyage To 2027

Incumbent Governor Adeleke has been declared the winner of the August 15, 2026 Osun Governorship Election, defeating the APC Challenger, Oyebamiji who was supported with everything Tinubu’s Federal Government could muster including illicit force.

Federal Might and APC’s overwhelming Brigandage were defeated in the Osun Governorship of August 15, 2026, in the presence of 16 APC Governors and Senate President Akpabio who all came to Osun with their machineries to reinforce the notorious “Federal Might” that crashed Nigeria’s 1st and 2nd Republics.

This outcome sets the stage for many things.

In the days ahead, Tinubu who now knows how the People of Nigeria view him and his Government, will be looking for how to abort the 2027 Electoral Voyage Journey from reaching the voting stage (ie January 2027).

On the other hand, with the number of fatalities (42 confirmed deaths from Osun Governorship Election-2026), the Opposition and the populace have now seen how far Tinubu and APC will go with the ALL-IS-FAIR-IN-POLITICS deadly Battle-Script. They now know that Nigeria’s 2027 Elections will be far from being free or fair.

The Opposition and the Populace would also have realized now that a total pushback against a desperate Tinubu will most likely end in a debacle, a fiasco, chaos and the eventual eruption of large-scale violence.

This realization should set the stage for their deciding on whether to plunge ahead with Elections-2027 as scheduled or to embrace the NINAS Transitioning pathway to avoid disaster as outlined in this video broadcast:

In other words, Tinubu, Opposition and the Populace are now approaching that T-Junction where they either turn left to Election and Damnation, or right to Transition and Salvation.
