The cacophony of analyses that trailed the October 15, 2026 Judgment of a Finnish Appellate Court in the Appeal filed by Terror-Convict, Simon Ekpa, range from succinct, fair, confused, ignorant, to absurd.
At one extreme of the spectrum is the dissection by the NINAS Secretariat which pointed out the balanced reasoning of the Finnish Court which upheld the Terror Conviction of Simon Ekpa on account of Ekpa’s lead-role in the orchestration of Terror and violence in the Igbo-East, but went on to observe that Nigeria created a Warlike situation in its Eastern Region (particularly the Igbo-East), that triggered amongst other things, the bloody commotion known as “Biafra Agitation”.
It was apparently for this causative factor that the Court reduced the six-year sentence imposed by the Trial Court to four years.

At the other end of the spectrum are postulations by Biafra Franchise Merchants suggesting that the Courts in Finland at both Trial and Appeal, were influenced and misled by Nigeria into pinning the terror tag on Simon Ekpa.
IT IS CURIOUS to note that both Simon Ekpa and his co-travellers in the “Biafra Restoration” scam and gambit, acknowledge that Simon Ekpa participated actively in ringleader role in the Terror activities of the Groups with which Simon Ekpa was (and still is) openly associated including IPOB and ESN, yet turn around to suggest that Simon Ekpa should neither be called a Terrorist nor convicted for Terrorism;

This warped argument is akin to suggesting that a person who participates actively and in a leading role, in the activities of a robbery gang is not or should not be called a robber. That is the logic being advanced by the Biafra Franchise Merchants as seen in the video above.
Even without the Terror designation of IPOB by the Government of Nigeria, the killings and destruction in Igboland by IPOB, ESN, Autopilot, Unknown Gunmen are in themselves terror activities against the Igbo and against Igboland. Accordingly, let it be understood that it was not because IPOB was designated a Terrorist Organization by Nigeria that it became a terrorist group. The bloodletting activities of IPOB and its enforcers particularly the ESN, are tantamount to Terror, irrespective of how IPOB prefers to describes itself.
The tag by the Government of Nigeria stands by itself and does not change anything about the reality of the activities of IPOB especially in Igboland.
In the days ahead when the decisive actions already deployed by the authentic Liberation Campaign, to dismantle the Fraudulent Constitution of Nigeria along with the Unitary Union of Death it foists is advanced to its next milestone, Igbo attention will of necessity turn to the merchants of the now defunct “Biafra Franchise”, home and abroad, spilling innocent Igbo blood in Igboland in the name of “Biafra Restoration”. The line will be drawn between Ignorance and Dishonesty, and the purging will be total.
For the avoidance of doubt, Nigeria, under its imposed, Fraudulent Unitary Constitution, is a criminal enterprise, violently enforcing itself in the territory the World calls Nigeria, including Igboland. What IPOB and its associated groups are doing merely compounds the situation in Igboland as it provides basis for Nigeria and its agents including the Security Forces and Political Office holders, to continue their decades-long Genocide against the Igbo and Igboland. This has been explained sufficiently to the “Biafra Restoration” Merchants and so the plea of Ignorance will not be available to these merchants before Igbo.
