Video: Igboland is not Landlocked; Nigeria’s Unitary Constitution is the Blockade to Seaports Development

What this Narrator in the video above said about the Geography of the Igbo-East (the so-called South-East mocked Dot-In-Circle) is correct in terms of the bodies of water in Igboland that flow straight into the Atlantic Ocean, capable of carrying Ocean-Going Vessels (even if a bit of dredging is required in some of them to clear silt).

The big OBSTRUCTION is the artificial Political boundaries imposed and enforced by Nigeria via its Fraudulent Unitary Constitution by which the Sovereignty and Key Economic Assets of the Igbo-East are hijacked and confiscated by an illicit “Federal Government”, which Fraudulently vested in itself, Exclusive Powers over Seaports, Maritime Assets, Waterways (and therefore Dredging) – all being on the 68-Item Federal Exclusive Legislative List of that Constitution.
The LNC-NINAS Liberation Project and Campaign is all about Defeating and Dismantling that monstrous, Fraudulent Constitution and the Unitary Union of Death it foists to free up the Sovereignty, Economic Assets and Developmental Powers of the Constituent Peoples of Nigeria, confiscated by that Constitution.
As it is for the Seaports, so it is for Airports (International), Railways, Highways, Electricity Generation and Transmission, Security, Police and Military, Elections, Refineries, Oil and Gas, Solid Minerals and a long list of other Developmental Assets and Powers confiscated by that Constitution which Fraudulently hijacked our Sovereignty and Forcefully conscripted us into the current Unitary Union of Death masquerading as the “Federation of Nigeria”.
Let us be informed that one of the Pillars of the NINAS Union Reconstruction Initiative, Rear-Admiral Godwin Ndubuisi Kanu, who was a prominent part of the core of what became and operated as the Biafran Navy, patrolled and fought on all these waters shown in this clip as British-backed Nigerian Forces struggled desperately to penetrate Biafra Territory from the Atlantic Ocean and the Creeks.
Next only to the resilience and iron-determination of Peoples of the then Eastern Region (Biafra) and the extraordinary Leadership provided by Ojukwu and Effiong, what Eastern Naval Forces did on the Coastal Front of the War to Block that Coastal Penetration by Nigerian Forces, was instrumental to sustaining the resistance of the East through the first year of the Nigeria-Biafra War, thus affording the Biafra Research and Development geniuses enough time to come up with the weapons required to hold off the Nigerian Forces from overrunning the Biafra Territory in the swift manner it originally envisaged.
Then the Unseen hands of the British struck the deal with France under which Gowon ceded the Bakassi Peninsula to Cameroon in order to allow Nigeria access into Biafra Territory through the creeks of Cameroon. That is the story of how Nigeria lost Bakassi to Cameroon.
The enemy (ie the 1967 Alliance of the rest of Nigeria which comprises of the Fulani Caliphate and the Renegade Wing of the Yoruba West) knows all these. It is our People (ie the Igbo-East Dot-In-Circle) that seem not to know and are therefore going from one blunder to another, blindfolded largely by self-imposed ignorance, personal ambitions and greed.
All Nigerians are now at the receiving end of the Toxic, Caliphate-Inspired Unitary Constitution of Nigeria and so, our collective task is to go single-mindedly after the adversary’s chief-Instrument of Power ie the Unitary Constitution, (as NINAS Alliance is leading the charge already), with a clear strategy for how to rework everything for everybody – Igbo-East, Rest of Nigeria, and International Interests.
As Nigeria wobbles and staggers almost uncontrollably to its catastrophic collapse, it is pertinent to remind our Compatriots in the dying Union of Nigeria, who profit from the total Shuttering of the Eastern Economic Corridor since 1967 when an Air, Land and Sea Blockade was imposed by an Alliance of the rest of Nigeria as an act of war against the Igbo-East, AND who went on to codify those punitive and strangulating Economic Measures and Policies by the Unitary Constitution imposed in 1979 as Victory Charter from the 1967-1970 Nigeria-Biafra War, that the War which the World was told had ended since January 1970 is still being waged by Nigeria against the Igbo-East for every day that Unitary Constitution, (now called the 1999 Constitution of Nigeria) which completely locks out the Igbo-East from the aforementioned Key Economic and Developmental Infrastructure, remains in operation.
This means that the 1967 War against the Igbo-East has not ended even as at December 2025, over 55 Years after it was declared over in January 1970, with a loud but bogus promise of Reconstruction of damaged Infrastructure, Reintegration of an excluded People and Reconciliation of a Divided Country.
In this regard, let it be noted particularly that successive Administrations in Lagos State, aided by the Federal Government of Nigeria and the Unitary Constitution of Nigeria, had openly championed the continued Economic Blockade and Exclusion of the Igbo-East from vital Economic Infrastructure particularly Seaports, International Airports, Railways, Refineries, Gas Infrastructure, Federal Highways, Telecommunications Infrastructure et cetera, quite apart from the complete seizure of the Economic Assets (particularly Oil and Gas) of the Igbo-East with the total Federal sequestration of, and Severe Restrictions on Key Governance and Developmental Powers over a wide range of subject matters including Security, Elections into Federal and State Offices as well as Electricity Generation & Transmission (Oji River Coal-fired Power Station remains shut down since the days of the 1967-1970 War).
This is ECONOMIC GENOCIDE against the Igbo-East, which continues to force mass migration of the Igbo to Lagos and the South-West where they are frequently treated like unwelcome foreigners, especially in the post-1999 Period when Bola Tinubu took over as Lagos State Governor, even as the Igbo are forced by the aforementioned Constitutional manipulations of Nigeria to domicile their business and Developmental exertions in Lagos.
The recent opposition voiced by Governor Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State to plans by the Nigeria Ports Authority towards the resumption of Port Operations in Warri is an example of the continuing trend.
It will be recalled that during the Tenure of Raji Fashola as Governor of Lagos State, the Apapa gridlock occasioned by Congested Port Operations forced Governor Fashola to call on the Federal Government to reopen the Eastern Ports review to ease the suffocating situation of Lagos Ports. The powers that be and other vested interests shut down that call. Same could be said for International Airports in which Lagos has remained the main gateway to the detriment of what would have been the competing alternatives in the Eastern Economic Corridor particularly, Port Harcourt, Enugu and Owerri, considering the demographic spread of International Air Passengers and their Destinations in Nigeria (More than 70% Igbo, heading to destinations in Igboland).
With Bola Tinubu who was Governor of Lagos State between 1999 and 2007, and who became the new Political Pathfinder for Lagos State and Yorubaland, and now Nigeria’s President, we are forced to take a hard look at these years of undisguised opposition to, and outright sabotage by Lagos State (and a notable segment of the Yoruba Political Leadership who are aligned with Lagos and its new Pathfinder), of any efforts or suggestion to reopen the Eastern Economic Corridor.
It is common knowledge that the commutative pressures from these Punitive and Debilitating exclusionary Policies of Nigeria towards the Igbo-East are largely responsible for the restiveness and Agitations that have practically paralyzed the Economy of the Igbo-East and rendered the Igbo-East almost desolate on many fronts.
The beneficiaries of Igbo Exclusion from everything under the Exclusive Control of the Federal Government of Nigeria may think that they are making progress simply because they have left the Igbo-East behind in terms of infrastructural facilities particularly Seaports, International Airports and Railways; they may even be rejoicing that the Igbo-East is being subjugated and being deliberately made to struggle with everything, but let them be reminded that it is precisely because of this Igbo Exclusion that the rest of the World is also leaving Nigeria far behind in everything since it is the same Igbo-East that has demonstrated the capacity and potential to pull Nigeria and Africa out of the backwaters of Technological Innovation and Industrial Development, whether we look at the Spectacular Developmental Feats of the Eastern Region of Premier Michael Okpara, or the awe-inspiring Technological Innovations and Breakthroughs in Ojukwu’s Biafra or even the Extraordinary Feats of Individual Igbo Entrepreneurs in the Unitary Nigeria of today despite being steeply skewed and massively rigged against the Igbo.
Let it be known that Nigeria is in the embarrassing sorry pass it is in today in the comity of Nations, including being a breeder of Terrorism, all because of the Unitary Constitution it imposed on itself in the quest to arrest the development and progress of the Igbo-East.
The defeat and ongoing delegitimization of the untenable Unitary Constitution of Nigeria as well as Nigeria’s Security Meltdown arising from the Terror-Driven Fulani Conquest Invasion that has thrust Nigeria into the Security Radar and Concern of the US, brings Nigeria to the moment of Decision on whether it wants to remain one political Union by reverting to the Federation it was founded to be, OR to dissolve into independent units of Successor Sovereign State Entities for failing to find equal accommodation for its diverse peoples.
Should Nigeria snap on account of its obdurate obsession with its Unitary Constitution and the Union-at-Gunpoint it foists, the Autopsy Report shall read: “This Dot-In-Circle is the Hole in the Heart of Unitary Nigeria that led to its Demise” while the Epitaph on its Tombstone shall read: “Nigeria Died Trying To Kill The Igbo”.
