Commenting on the claim by Tinubu’s Information Minister, Mohammed Idris, that Tinubu meant well for Nigerians in unleashing the disastrous Economic Reforms (Particularly Fuel Subsidy Removal and Naira Floatation) that have not only failed woefully and manifestly but that have also plunged Nigeria into deeper Economic and Security Quagmires.

Tony Nnadi wrote as follows:

“Most Quack-Doctors mean well for their patients but when their good intentions are juxtaposed with the disastrous consequences of their quackery, which may include death and permanent disability, the gravity of the wrong becomes obvious. The Nigerians who are now being massacred and impoverished on account of Insecurity and Economic Strangulation are the Victims of the Quack Reformer.

It gets much worse when the Quack-Doctor (Tinubu) who endangered, incapacitated or killed the patients, (Nigerians) went into the undertaking with less-than-noble motives, using less-than-straight methods such us snatching, grabbing and running with an unearned Electoral Mandate.

The result of the Quackery is now being reckoned in Mass Deaths and Mass Impoverishment. The less-than-stellar reputation of the Quack-Doctor in matters relating to character and proclivity to crime, does not situate the wrong in the realm of Noble-Intention-Gone-Wrong.

The Reform Nigeria needs most urgently is the Constitutional Reconstruction of Nigeria from the Unitary Union of Imposition it has become under the 1999 Constitution, to the Negotiated Federal Union it was designed to be at Independence.

To retain the Anti-Development, Anti-Production and Anti-Progress Unitary Constitution (1999) that completely Locks Down the vast Economic and other potentials of Nigeria, and continue the rigmarole of directionless Reforms anchored on gross misdiagnosis of ailing Nigeria, is to deliberately inflict excruciating economic pains on the populace under the guise of Reforms that have not only failed manifestly but that have plunged Nigeria into Deeper Economic Travails, and Nigerians into Mass Poverty.”
