The False Narratives That Will Consume The Distressed Nigerian Union
(Being A Rejoinder To Reno Omokri’s Article Titled: The Biafran Anger Against Obafemi Awolowo)

Being a Rejoinder by Tony Nnadi to Reno Omokri’s article titled: “The Biafran Anger against Obafemi Awolowo,” published by ThisDayLive on the 20th of June 2023. Link HERE: (https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2023/06/20/the-biafran-anger-against-obafemi-awolowo).

My attention has been drawn to an article by Reno Omokri published by ThisDayOnline on June 20, 2023, and titled: “The Biafran Anger Against Obafemi Awolowo.”

Like many anti-Igbo falsehoods, before it being massively circulated at this time by agents of the 1967 Alliance, that article is a Sacrilegious False Narrative in Revisionism in which Reno Omokri tried unintelligently to launder Awolowo from the stench of the Biafra Genocide, Blockades, Starvation and the Post-War Punitive Policy Measures against the East especially the Abandoned Property Decree and £20-per-pre-war-account Mass Expropriation Policy.

Unfortunately for Reno Omokri and ThisDay Newspaper, which have both acquired notoriety for manufacturing unintelligent anti-Igbo false narratives that are very easily dismantled by well-documented records of what truly transpired in the period  between January 15, 1966, Coup and the end of 1970, their poor effort at revisionism will not only fail woefully, it will compel a full discussion on what truly transpired in the period between 1964 and 1971 before, during and after the Nigeria-Biafra War of 1967-1970.

As a part of its response to the many false narratives that have been spawned against the Igbo regarding the 1967-1970 War, including the Cause, the Execution, and the Post-War Punitive Policies against the East, the Lower Niger Congress (LNC) will organize an elaborate public circulation (and discussion) of the contents of the Diary-Book titled: “The Untold Story of the Nigeria-Biafra War” which provide unedited day-to-day foreign eye-witness accounts of what transpired during the period between December 1964 and November 1970 relating to the 1966 Coups; the 1966 Pogroms; the Genocidal War of 1967-1970; the Wartime Air, Land, and Sea Blockades that facilitated the Starvation Policy as well as Post-War Punitive Policy Measures against the East, some of which are still in place to this date in 2023, codified as Constitution and Law.

It will be recalled that I had cause to respond by way of a Rejoinder to a similar sacrilegious false narrative written by Simon Kolawole (Editor of ThisDay) and published by ThisDay Newspaper about how General Aguiyi-Ironsi destroyed the Federal Constitutional Basis of Nigeria and imposed a Unitary Constitutional Order.
(See the Rejoinder below).

There is also a more recent article of mine on the subject titled: “May 30, 2023: A Biafra Anniversary Note,” in which I exhibited a Red Cross video clip from 1969 showing a large number of naked, badly emaciated, kwashiorkor-stricken and dying Biafra infants at a Red Cross facility being assisted by foreign Red Cross volunteers ahead of their evacuation to sympathetic neighboring countries, particularly Gabon.

These heinous False Narratives were Chief-Reason the Class of 1966 and the Alliance of 1967 removed History from the School Curriculum in Nigeria.

The murderous felons and genocidists who enacted these crimes against humanity in Eastern Nigeria (particularly against the Igbo) and who imposed the Unitary Constitutional Order still go around gloating about their exploits, boasting and insulting the Igbo victims of the Nigerian State Terror, some mocking the Igbo as Dot-In-Circle whilst all sitting on the humongous benefits from the Booty of their blood-soaked One-Nigeria by way of Massive Land-Grab, Oil Blocs and other Concessions including for Ports and Solid Minerals even as they happily maintain the Shuttering of the Eastern Economic Corridor, forcing the migration of the Igbo overseas and to other parts of Nigeria, particularly Lagos and later Abuja, where they are now being killed and their economic Assets being destroyed and targeted.

The 1967 Alliance against the East, which created the atrocious Unitary Structures, which wrought these many evils, and which has brought Nigeria to Ruins, is also happy to lock the Igbo out of the Power Equation in Nigeria, as we have seen in the mangled, Inconclusive 2023 Nigerian Presidential Election, where candidate Peter Obi’s Victory is being openly hijacked by the enforcers of that Alliance of 1967.

To get a glimpse into where things are between Nigeria and its Eastern Region as of June 2023, a young man was recently arrested in Oshogbo for tweeting: “Let’s Kill All the Igbos.”

Yes, the lunatic may have been arrested but going by the serial atrocities of the 1967 Alliance against the East, we will be deceiving ourselves if we pretend that the young man was not speaking the mind and desire of the enforcers of the 1967 Alliance amongst whom Reno Omokri has repeatedly distinguished himself.

Most happily, with the spectacular successes of the Union Reconfiguration Campaign of Nigerian Indigenous Nationalities Alliance for Self-Determination (NINAS), the prime casualty from the Decades of Bloody Brigandage and Vicious Wickedness of the 1967 Alliance is their precious baby called One-Nigeria, as framed erected and defined by the 1999 Constitution. The NINAS Alliance has Upended the 1967 Alliance.

Let it be known to Reno Omokri, ThisDay Newspaper, and their co-travelers in the “Let’s-Kill-All-The-Igbo” bandwagon that the hatred and vitriol being projected unabashedly towards the Igbo by the enforcers of the 1967 Alliance, especially in the course of, and in the aftermath of Nigeria’s botched 2023 Presidential Election, will be the final straw that broke the camel’s back for the Unitary Nigeria that is already headed to its sure demise.

Whether the enforcers of the 1967 Alliance realize it now or not, the NINAS December 16, 2020, Constitutional Force Majeure has Delegitimized the distressed 1999 Constitution, thus Unhinging the Legal Basis of the Federation of Nigeria. Also, the NINAS June 12, 2023, Declaration of Interregnum has Decapitated the Bogus outcome of the February 25, 2023, Nigeria’s Presidential Election.

Between these two watershed events, it is only a matter of time before Unitary Nigeria (i.e., Caliphate-owned, Caliphate-controlled One-Nigeria) is wheeled to its waiting grave.

The Epitaph on the Tombstone of Unitary Nigeria will be that: “Nigeria Died Trying to Kill Biafra.”
