Going in the sequence of DIAGNOSIS, PRESCRIPTION, and TREATMENT, the first question to ask is: “What is wrong with Nigeria?”
The undisputed answer to that question is — the Unitary Constitution imposed on a Federal Union. (DIAGNOSIS).
The next logical question is: “What is the solution for Nigeria now?”
The straightforward answer is — Decommission and rework the Union Constitution through negotiations and consent. (PRESCRIPTION).
The third question is: “How can this decommissioning, renegotiation, and reconfiguration be undertaken?”
The answer is to suspend plans for further national elections under that Constitution and initiate, in place of elections, an immediate transitioning process to rework the damaged constitutional basis of Nigeria. (TREATMENT).
It is with this clear dissection of the situation (i.e., Diagnosis, Prescription, and Treatment Plan) that we proceed to ask ourselves whether it is reasonable to continue pushing the standard false narrative that a change of leadership via elections will deliver Nigeria from the fatal debilitations of its Unitary Constitution; instead of advancing the logical reasoning that what the situation of Nigeria now requires is the constitutional reconstruction of the Union through the initiation of an immediate transitioning process.
The first set of questions should lead to a second set of confirmatory questions: whether it is another round of national elections in 2027 under Nigeria’s terrorism-facilitating 1999 Unitary Constitution (no matter what electoral reforms anyone may suggest) that will deliver the cure Nigeria urgently needs, or transitioning for immediate constitutional reconstruction of Nigeria, beginning now in 2026, in place of yet another violence-guaranteed and futile round of national elections under the same fraudulent and untenable 1999 Constitution.
If we refuse to ask and answer these questions clearly, quickly, honestly, and objectively, then we will only continue in the perennial rigmarole of failing to define the change we seek and the route to attaining that change.

Britain granted Fulani veto powers over the rest of Nigeria at the inception of the country, and it has remained so for decades, including under the current Unitary Constitution of Nigeria (1999). — Odia Ofeimum, longtime private secretary to Chief Obafemi Awolowo.
NINAS Union Reconfiguration is presented as the most viable mechanism for overturning what is described as a master-servant constitutional imposition by the Caliphate, aimed at breaking Fulani hegemony. The proposed action required from the rest of Nigeria is to shut down the electoral voyage to 2027 in rejection of the 1999 Constitution.
